


UK screening provider Vero’s new ‘pay as you go’ background check service will make online screening a reality for SMEs UK-wide.
Vero has created a new self-service employment screening solution to help SMEs in the UK business sector conduct the employee background checks they require, without the need for a contract or complex sign-up process.

Its new Vero/Go offering provides up-front, ‘pay as you go’ screening services to businesses looking to process background checks for prospective and existing employees. Vero/Go includes a suite of screening bundles specifically designed to support employers across a wide range of industries.
It means UK businesses from all backgrounds will be able to access Vero’s secure online portal within hours of registering, enabling them to screen new or existing staff, in low, medium and high risk roles, quickly and with greater confidence.

Vero/Go users can expect to be validated within 12 hours of selecting their chosen screening bundle on the Vero/Go website. Following validation, and once payment has been made, a receipt and an invite to access the Vero/Live system online is issued.
The new self-service background checking platform has been individually packaged for financial, legal and professional services, and developed in line with BS7858, BPSS and general screening requirements too.
Customers simply select the screening bundle that best suits their needs, complete a short registration form and agree to the terms of service. Within a few hours they can be screening their new employees, reducing their business exposure to risk, and ensuring new employees’ past experience and qualifications are genuine.
