You’ve got to the employment screening stage of the recruitment process. Your future employer wouldn’t be doing this unless they really wanted to work with you. Now you want to know what happens next and how the process works. The Screening Questionnaire
To start the pre-employment screening process, we need you to fill in a questionnaire. We only ask for information relevant to the specific screening requirements for your job. By providing this, you enable us to complete your employment screening checks quickly and effectively. If you get stuck, turn to our online help section — or contact the helpdesk for assistance.
- Complete and submit your online questionnaire and declaration promptly
- Provide full and accurate details throughout the screening process
- Respond promptly to any requests for additional information
- Provide clear, legible copies of any documentation requested
We take our responsibilities under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018 very seriously. All Vero employees receive comprehensive data protection training. We also have strict procedures in place to ensure your data is kept safe and is processed in accordance with data protection legislation. If you have questions about the handling of your data, we hope you will find our Candidate Data Protection Guide helpful but please don’t hesitate to get in contact any time.
Subject Access Requests
Once you have completed your online questionnaire, you will be able to log back in at any time to download your data. You may find it a useful reference for any future applications you make. In accordance with your data subject rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you are also entitled to request a copy of all information relating to your pre-employment screening.
Such an application would constitute a Subject Access Request (SAR) and should be made directly to your future employer, in their capacity as the data controller. They will be happy to assist. For further information on SARs please refer to the website of the Information Commissioner’s Office.
